Lovely inside, good venue for the reason we were there a 60th birthday celebration! Very friendly staff.

Very expensive for one night and no breakfast, really city prices £250 for a bedroom in Rutherglen overpriced I'm afraid in my opinion.

Everything was perfect, price was very low for those facilities and for that room

Breakfast staff member was very chatty and helped make the morning a bit better. Fantastic full cooked breakfast, great quality produce cooked perfectly. Coffee was only warm in the pot and not great. Obviously money is being spent on the downstairs areas which were being tiled on the morning of departure, very nice and welcoming inside.

The disabled parking is under huge sycamore trees and the car was covered in bird mess on our return in the morning - we had to find the nearest car wash. The bedroom was very very small, only a double bed which was very tired. The mattress is so warn that you just sagged in it. The bed was clean and nicely made up. Bathroom is in need of some attention as the bath has settled and come away from the sealant and the sealant is missing between the floor covering and the bath. Behind the sink pedastool had not been cleaned so when you sat on the wobbly loo, you could see dust and hairs. Even more worrying was there were no window locks at all. We were able to open both windows fully inwards, plus the sewerage pipes have been boxed in creating a "step" up to the windows - extremely unsafe if you have children or were leaning out for a smoke - which obviously many have done previosly judging by the sheer amount of fag ends on the roof.
