Hôtel Mercure Toulon La Seyne-Sur-Mer

This hotel is pleasantly sited next to the port of La Seyne sur Mer, not exactly Toulon as was advertised on the Hotel.com website. This was a little inconvienient as we made the trip to watch the rugby in Toulon, however the location itself was nice. It would have been helpful if there had been an information book in the room, providing advise about public transport, especially the boat which crosses the bay from the port in La Seyne sur Mer to Toulon, and a timetable would have been useful. The town itself has an old part with a couple of pretty squares, but not much in the way of restaurants.

Perfectly fine hotel; pleasant staff and comfortable rooms. Although it was not a holiday (in France) the hotel was very quiet, with potentially only three or four other people staying in the hotel. Which is good or bad, depending upon how you look at it!

Booked a king sized bed, which was 2 singles pushed together. I expected this of course but not that they would be different heights. Staff were friendly and helpful but the biggest problem is the location. The town is small and quiet but nothing to do. The ferry to Toulon was fun at eur 2 each return but the hotel seems to have ideas above its station. It is not conveniently located but charges like it is. Instead of the eur 9 each for breakfast we went to a cafe across the harbor where we got coffee and bread rolls with jam and croissants for eur 10 total for both of us. Would stay in toulon next time.

Very spacious room with nice design and amazing view on yachts.

We enjoyed our stay. The warm (28 degrees Celsius) swimming pool was a real plus.

this is a very modern hotel with beautiful rooms. Found it very clean & bed firm and confortable. A/C worked well. Great setting. Ours faced the newly renovated park overlooking the bay & Toulon across it so enjoyed the balcony the rooms have. Unfortunately, our short stay did not allow us to try out their pool. We did not want to stay in Toulon which is a larger, noisier city with no particular interest except the harbour yet this location allows easy access to coastal roads towards Marseille or the highway topwards the rest of the French Riviera.

Very friendly staff in reception. Room very modern and furnished up to good standard. The only one issue is lack of English channels on Sat Tv to choose from (BBC intl only).

Nice modern clean hotel with very good staff , I would certainly stay here again. The only negative was the €8 per night parking fee.
