The property was great, clean and quaint.....but the view was spectaclar.

Great hotel and wonderful front desk staff! This hotel is the only thing around, so the night sky viewing was a bonus! It is closer to Hanksville than Torrey. The address on here said Torrey, but that was not the case. Dakota at the front desk was friendly and very helpful with our plans in the area. Breakfast was just enough to get us on the road. We also used the laundry and it worked well.

The property was fine. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We thought we would be in Torrey, UT. However, we were THIRTY MILES away in Cainsville, UT. The listing of Torrey is misleading!!

Great place to stay just outside Capital Reef. Staff very friendly and the pool was refreshing after hiking in the hot sun.

Excellent hotel, very happy with staff, service, cleanliness, comfort, and quality of room. I would stay here again!

The best if you are not sure about camping! It has a nice view and is quiet and close from the recreation areas and Hanksville.

The manager was extremely helpful throughout our stay. He made a personal call when we changed our reservation and wanted to keep the same room for another day. He came immediately to check and try to fix our air conditioner, explaining that if it was still an issue he had more units for replacement. When we asked again because it wasn't working, he immediately brought a new unit and personally replaced our air conditioner. Very helpful and friendly in multiple ways.

Check in easy! Friendly staff. Very clean rooms.Beds and pillows were good. Would stay again if in the area.

We stayed at this property on the night of June 14th, 2025. The rooms are pretty vintage, but overall decent and clean. However, for the price we paid, I’m sure we could have find something better in Torrey. The real issue, for us, were the employees. Specifically one. The morning after the day we arrived, my husband, his service dog and me went to have breakfast. One of the employees did not let my disable husband in the breakfast room because of the dog. We tried to explain him that that was not a pet, but a service animal. We even asked to talk to the manager, cause no one told us anything when we checked in, and he said he was the manager. After we informed him that not letting our service animal inside was against a federal law he said that “he has 5 service dogs at home, but he doesn’t let them in the breakfast room”. First of all, I don’t think you can have 5 service dogs, but if you really have a service dog it’s because you need it to be with you, you cannot just leave it at home. Additionally, he was just very rude, kept interrupting us while my husband and me were trying to talk to each other. His argument was that they have people from all over the world and that they do not like dogs. After this horrible discrimination, my disable husband was forced to have his breakfast outside. The employee did not even offer to bring the breakfast to him so I had to prepare it and bring it outside. This behavior was not only discriminatory
