"sehr modernes Hotel in ruhiger Randlage von Rom"

Das Hotel ist neuwertig, modern und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig. Wir haben uns hier für eine Nacht vor unserem Rückflug vom naheliegenden Flughafen eigentlich sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Auto durften wir kostenfrei sicher in der verschlossenen Hotel-Tiefgarage parken. Allerdings ist die Lage einerseits sehr ruhig - aber andererseits sehr merkwürdig, da man abends zu Fuß nirgendwo hinlaufen kann, da alle Straßen rundherum Sackgassen sind. Es gibt nur eine sehr lange Zufahrtstraße, welche man zur nächsten Gaststätte rd. 30 Minuten laufen kann, wenn man nicht mit dem Auto unterwegs sein möchte. Andere angrenzende Anlieger-Straßen sind - wie in Italien immer wieder anzutrefffen - mit großen Zauntoren verschlossen und somit nicht passierbar.

Die Lage ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig - siehe oben. Es ist ein klassisches Bus-Reise-Hotel für eine Nacht und nicht wirklich für einen längeren Urlaubs-Aufenthalt geeignet.

"Great hotel if you arrive by car or bus. But if you want to reach the center on your own feet, look for another one."

We visited this hotel on March 5-8, 2026, during a 6000 km trip by car around Europe. The advantage of the hotel is that it offers parking in an underground garage, the hotel is clean, and the reception is open 24 hours a day. It is very convenient to reach by car. These are positives. The hotel is 4 stars, the fridge in the room, the fan in the bathroom is not working, there is no ketler, disposable cups are used instead of glasses. The first evening, when I asked the receptionist what public transport to take to the city center, the answer was "you have your own car...". In Rome, it is really very convenient to get to the first ZTL zone by your own transport...:) It is very difficult to reach the center from this hotel, because it is located on a corner, about 1.2 km to the bus stop. When returning from the city, Google Maps takes you to a dead end, from which it is ~6 km to return to the hotel. Let's just say we just ignored all of this. The first breakfast was impressive. A group of tourists had breakfasted before us, and they didn't seem very cultured. We just politely ignored the dirty tables and tried to sit at a clean one, wherever we liked. However, we were chased away by the waiter and shown that we had to sit not where we wanted, but exactly where he indicated. Moreover, he ironically said something about us to a few people sitting at the next table, that everyone was trying to sit where they didn't belong. We swallowed the pill of this waiter's arrogance. The last straw was the smelly boiled ham that the employee proudly brought. After taking a bite, I lost my patience and just said that I had never seen a worse breakfast... and we just left. I told the receptionist the same thing. We just left and didn't even bother to check the next few days to see if the "restaurant" had anything fresher ;) Before we leaving, the receptionist rushed to apologize and insisted on inviting us to have breakfast, I politely refused. Instead of apologizing, they could have just refunded the money for the breakfast I didn't eat, I'm not asking for compensation for the spoiled mood... In general, I find it strange to see a hotel calling a room with chairs a restaurant ;) By the way, the hotel prevent me from writing a review on booking.com.
