Hotel Croatia

Stayed here during a long layover in Vienna. Convenient to airport with CAT train. Pleasant stay.

We had an excellent seven night stay. The room was very comfortable, there was a good selection at breakfast and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well located being only a few metres from the beach but set back from the main sea front so not noisy during our visit.

Everything about our stay was as good as it could be, except for... One night the neighborhood was a little noisy for sleep - nothing that closing the windows wouldn't fix. We tried to turn on the air conditioning so we could close the windows. The A/C wouldn't start. We discovered the next day that the A/C is very smart. It won't run if you have the window open. Lesson learned: close the windows before you try to run the A/C. Once we learned that, we were golden. Great staff! Perfect location and excellent accommodations! The King Restaurant next to the hotel is excellent++.

Booked this on a whim because we didn't want to make the full journey to Dubrovnik in the one night. The Riviera was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is good value for the price and we even got a free upgrade which was unnecessary as we were only a couple but nice as well.. Breakfast was included and a stroll along the beach is a must

Have stayed at this hotel twice now and would stay there again without hesitation. The only reason I can't give it 5 out of 5 is because the breakfast is slightly lacking in choice and the pillows in our room were very lumpy. I dare say we might have got the pillows changed if we had asked, but it didn't stop me sleeping, so didn't bother. In every other aspect, this hotel ticks all the boxes for us, the staff are lovely and helpful, rooms spotless, quiet (we didn't hear any noise from other rooms or outside the hotel), about 50m from the beautiful beach, just a lovely place to be. The Dalmatian coast is, undeniably, spectacular. It is just a pity that the local people (and I mean people in shops mainly but, occasionally in bars) are not particularly friendly.

at first it was a little difficult finding the hotel, and once we did, thought it was going to be noisy, as it is right off the main street/ but once inside..this hotel was very nice, friendly staff and rooms were quiet...next door to an excellent restaurant and right in front of the marina with the beach approx 2 min walk...

Had a fabulous one night here and wished we had stayed longer. Very cute rooms, good location and the staff were amazing. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great for travellers. we stayed one week. Room very comfortable. Asked for twin as sharing with a friend. This was unavailable, but this was not explained why this might happen by Expedia. In the end shared bed with friend, but soo big, not a problem. Staff excellent but should work on the bar. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Wonderful hotel, beautifully decorated and maintained. The staff were great, very attentive and friendly. They were happy to answer lots of questions, print out ferry time, give recommendations etc. The hotel is well located, would recommend it to anyone visiting Baska Voda, Croatia.

We loved Hotel Croatia. The staff were very friendly . Room spacious and spotlessly clean . We chose to have breakfast outside the front of the hotel which ws a lovely setting to watch the world go by whilst lingering over the buffet selection. Close to cafes and restaurants nearby. We arrived by bus from Split, it is about a 15 to 20 min walk down to the town but seemed longer in the heat . be prepared for a steep climb back up to the road !
