Signature Inn Medford Downtown - Newly Renovated

The room was comfortable and clean, and the manager was very helpful and friendly.

The alley the runs through the middle of the motel attracted a noisy, homeless man one evening.

It was a nice stay really quiet and clean

Overall no complaints

Can't name one thing.

Dirty and moldy baseboard(s) (see pic) 😷 Hair in the tub. Bathroom had old Spanish rice or Chinese food 🥡stuck to the counter (see pic) Malfunctioning vent(s). Broken coat rack that almost came out of the wall had I put a feather 🪶 on it. Rusty and filthy sink. After itching like crazy I decided to look in the bed where I found little critters that I don't think should have been there. Bites on my legs. Coughing from mold and breathing kinda weird. 🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫 I contacted the headquarters who responded promptly with "someone will be able to assist you within 48 hours.". Oh, it gets better. I get a phone call (after 12 or more attempts ) to reach the office - from a gentleman claiming to be the new owner and that they have shut down that part of the hotel due to poor conditions and that they Should not have even been rented. All I was asking was for my money back. Nothing more ( which I believe I'm entitled to) nothing less. $78.00. Thats it. I was told to sue for 1k+. The new owner did nothing but argue with me about how it was not his fault, despite me telling him that he is now the face of the company and it's in his best interest to accommodate my request promptly. He said there is nothing he can do and it's not his fault. Which I get. It's not. But being the new owner- one would think you'd want to make a good name for yourself and be kind to help promote business. I even told him I'd help him market his business if he'd just make it right. 🚫🚫🚫 I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT AT ALL. RENOVATED OR NOT. POOR OWNERSHIP AND EVEN WORSE MANAGMENT. I WOULD NEVER TAKE ANY KIDS, ELDERLY OR EVEN OFFER SOMEONE I DISLIKED A RECOMMENDATION. +HE OFFERED ME DISCOUNTED OFFERS FOR FUTURE STAYS, WHICH I POLITELY DECLINED.🚫🚫🚫

Affordable, beds mostly comfy, location was nice and not too far off freeway.

Things weren’t clean like the mirror had children’s handprints all over it, needed sweeping, found odd “spots” on some of the sheets. The bathroom door didn’t latch so privacy was a bit of an issue. Walls are thin and heard our upstairs neighbors around 7am stomping around.

I booked this property at the last minute as I was traveling back to Portland from California.

The location made me feel unsafe. I requested a full refund ot my Capital one card ending 6298.

The bed was really comfortable and the pillows too and the owner was really nice.

Neighborhood is a little dicey.

good value for money- we arrived late and leave early- the old Indian looking guy has been helpful - lent us a wine opener

pillow case has a long hair- soap bar bag is opened- I dont mind but not my wife

The price was good for a quick overnight stay

The older gentleman that checked us in acted like we were trying to scam him. I told him we had 3 adults and 1 child. He told me we only booked for 2 adults. Ok add another on my mistake. Then he wanted to know the age of my child acting like he was too old. Hes 13. Just an uncomfortable check in. My pillow smelled funky and I don't think they changed the bedding between guests. I only ever saw one older Indian man doing everything including housekeeping. Which again never any bedding. The room was quite small & bathroom floors were filthy and had brown splatter everywhere from the toilet to the sink and walls. Needs better maid service.
