Booked this place to be closer to family because we usually stay out of Sanford and this place was run down and BAD! Pool is closed indefinitely and Orbitz site doesn’t tell you that, they don’t have shampoo but have soap and conditioner ( manager said it was on backoder and purchased us a small bottle), the toilet valve made a screaming noise when you flushed it, and the hair dryer was broken. The night staff were very apologetic but the day staff just wanted to play with their phones and the breakfast was ok. Will not stay there ever again.
Internet was a big problem for the entire week. It would come and go constantly, which was very frustrating. The people at the front desk did very little to try to help the situation. We also had friends check in and were given the key to a room that was totally trashed but had been checked off as cleaned. The highlights were the breakfasts and the housekeeping staff.

Everything was clean. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Staff was friendly. Overall our stay was very comfortable.

The Hotel used to be nice and has great potential but is a disaster now. #1 both carts for luggage had flat tires making it impossible for me to move all my camera equipment at once meaning 6 trips when 1 could work. The shower was nice but the rail was pulling from the wall and neither end would stay shut so you could not take a full shower without the entire bathroom floor getting soaked. The toilet had a crack in it and it looked as if feces was leaking from it I did not verify if it was feces. The bed at the foot had a screw missing and the box spring so when I sat there to take off my shoes it scratched the back of my heel. I was sitting watching the news had just taken off my shoes and realized something hard under my foot turned out to be 2 small pieces of sausage from a pizza as if the previous tenant had pizza and the mai did not Vacuum. I mentioned all this at check out to two ladies working the desk and they never responded but started a conversation with each other about the shortcomings of the carts when one of the two had a family reunion there. I was very disappointed.
While hotel only serves breakfast, there were numerous resturants in the vicinity.
Everything was awesome from start to finish!
