Small and beautifullly thought out hotel and layout. Excellent location right on the beach and the grounds are lush, exotic and beautifully kept. Resident Water Monitors roam the grounds which was a little disconcerting when you first encounter them but harmless and very amusing. Rooms are extremely comfortable with absolutely everything you could need. Breakfasts were very good indeed. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Would definitely return.

Just a small gripe from a smoker... only one place to smoke right down on the beach and no area to sit there with a drink. A problem throughout Thailand.

Ein Resort mitten im Palmengarten mit „Dchungelfeeling“ direkt am Strand. Sehr gepflegte Anlage! Alle Zimmer mit eigenem Eingang und sehr geräumig, das Bad top. Das Personal immer sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Tolles Resort an einem schönen Strand! Das Frühstück war üppig und sehr vielfältig. Das Personal war ausnehmend freundlich und hilfsbereit ! Die Massage direkt am Meer ein Highlight! Das Restaurant unmittelbar am Strand war gut und preislich total okay!

Hier gibt es nur Details zu erwähnen: Die Handtücher wurden erst nach 3 Tagen gewechselt. Vielleicht wussten wir auch nicht, wie wir den Wechselwunsch anzeigen sollen. Auf Bitte passierte das sofort.

We had an amazing time at this property. It is much less built up than some others on this beach and the different buildings are much better integrated in the local nature. The overall impression is that it feels much less crowded than some of the gigantic resorts right around the corner. If you are looking for peace and tranquility this is definitely the place to go on Khao Lak beach. The hotel restaurant on the beach has amazing views towards the quieter part of the beach. And for all your guided trips, car transfers and other local information talk to the lady who runs the Andalay bar & restaurant right next door. She can arrange anything.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly but they are clearly on a very short leash and aren't allowed to deviate from 'the rules' and 'the process'. I suspect this comes right down from the owner. But it takes away that special something you get in real boutique hotels where the staff feels free to go the extra step to help you. You can only hear so many times 'the rule is...', 'our rule is...' 'you must do this...' And when you arrive at 2pm and right off the bat they tell us that they are breaking the rules by letting us have access to our rooms early (instead of 3PM) when the rooms are ready anyway, it feels like they misunderstand what hospitality is.
