Staff is very kind. And property is really good.

La chambre était superbe, la piscine géniale, avec un grand bassin pour les adultes, un bassin pour les enfants et un bassin "jacuzzi" . Le personnel aux petits soins, d'une extrême gentillesse en toute circonstance. Petit déjeuner buffet copieux et varié: des croissants/pancakes avec confiture, aux fruits frais coupés, yaourt et lait, en passant par les oeufs faits a la demande (durs, a la coque, brouillé, omelette) jusqu'aux plats thai (nouilles, riz...)

L'emplacement n'était vraiment pas idéal, on ne pouvait pas se déplacer à pied (route principale de l'île, dangereuse, non éclairée la nuit) donc nous etions dépendants des taxis Songtao (100 baths minimum pour le moindre trajet. Même a 2 mins), et la navette promise par l'hôtel pour aller a la plage privée amène sur du sable avec vue sur la mer certes, mais aucun moyen d'aller dans la dite mer en contrebas, en tout cas pas avec des enfants (gros rochers type digue qui tombe à pic sur la vraie plage en contrebas). Pour quelqu'un qui a son propre moyen de locomotion c'est ok (voiture ou scooter), mais sinon vraiment pas top.

Lediglich kleine Anmerkung, der Pool war viel zu warm, ja fast heiß, keine erhoffte Abkühlung!

The resort is so very beautiful, its like living in a tropical garden. There are many lovely palms, flowers and trees everywhere. Everyday we really noticed how beautiful the resort. One of the best things about this resort is the staff. They were absolutely lovely!! They are so polite and friendly and they all speak really good English. They were amazing with our children and really made us feel so welcome for all of our stay. They were able to help us rent a bike, and book activities and any other issues we needed help with. The location is a little out of the way, although for us (our first trip to Koh Chang) it was quite good in that its about mid-way on the island so everywhere is reachable by public transport ( song taew / bhat bus). Its a 10 min walk up the road to the busier area where there are various places to eat, a temple (Wat Klong Prao) and 7/11s etc. There is an awesome fruit smoothie / milkshake place just 1 min walk from the resort. The waterfall Klong Plu ? Is a 20-30min walk or a 5 min drive on the bike up a stunning jungle road which is very fun to walk or drive. We did rent a bike in the end and this made travelling locally easier, as public transport does start to get expensive as they charge per person. The beach next door (Klong Prao) is really stunning and there is a fantastic beach restuarant / bar there which id amazing at sunset.

The breakfast could be a little better. I didnt like their coffee (personal taste i guess) It could be better but honestly its not bad either. The kids were happy enough. The swimming pool area / bar is under utalised. They could really improve this by having some music, and maybe consider having a "Happy Hour" for cocktails to encourage people to come and have a bit more fun there and make it a bit more lively at the pool. The wooden decking at the pool needs to be replaced.
