Fantastic beachside with outstanding views

Отдыхали с семьей в июле 2016. Отель расположен в великолепном месте в 50м от берега моря. С терассы номера открывается великолепный вид на море с вытянутым островом и зеленое побережье. Вдоль моря в обе стороны вдоль пляжей протянулся променад для пеших прогулок. Очень порадовал ресторан в отеле: великолепный выбор блюд и изумительная кухня. Обслуживание на высоте. Гостиница чистая и уютная, персонал доброжелательный и отзывчивый. Единственное, что мало, так это развлекательных программ и предложения спортивных услуг. При возможности приехали бы еще не раз.

Hotel Maestral has one of the best locations with it being right on the beach but the hotel is old and dated. It was very clean but you could see mold in the corners. The air conditioning was "OK" but it could have been cooler in the room. They don't air condition the hallways or the lobby which we found odd. Using the free Wi-Fi was frustrating as we were often denied access (suspect they had a maximum number of users allowed or something). We also had to log on every single time rather than it automatically connecting us as is the usual practice. For the price (approx $180 night, incl breakfast) of a standard room I would have expected a bit more comfort. On a positive note, the staff was good and the breakfast buffet was excellent. In their defense, I can't compare Hotel Maestral with any other hotels in Brela Beach so not sure if, for the same money, we could have done better. I'd be inclined to look elsewhere if I go back.

The hotel staff was freindly and the meals were quite good. If you get a sea side room, do not actually expect to see the sea as there are large trees blocking the view. Though if you do get a sea side room you may be able to catch a concert for free as you overlook the stage. On the same note do not expect to go to bed early as concerts and variety shows are very loud and will keep you up, but at least there was air conditioning. The rooms are quite large too conpared to other hotels.
