"The Sheridan weee superb."

Great breakfast, loverly couple, central loc.

We were booked at Fern Cottage Scalby in March, for this time, however, we were informed less than 5 hours to arrival our booking was cancelled by the owner! We will NEVER consider booking this propery again! We feel the owner had a better offer for these dates, and if its happened once it WILL happen to some one else!! Beware!!!

I liked everything: the hospitality, my room, it had everything I needed, breakfast.

The only thing that didn't work for me was that the windows of my wonderful room faced the road and it didn't let me sleep well. But that's probably because I'm a pretty sensitive sleeper. Everything else was great.

I arrived by train and found the Sheridan pretty easily - it was about a 20-minute walk. I arrived earlier than expected but was able to drop off my suitcase. Breakfast was good and my room was warm (the heating wasn't on) and bright - on the second floor which I didn't mind.
