The Three Horseshoes - Inn

There was no toilet roll in the bathroom!!!ok to ask after the event too late then. Breakfast was disgusting for myself,left it uneaten. When i went to pay, the landlady didnt even comment on my still full plate. I run a very successful busy business myself and would definitely not treat my customers like that,I would have asked what was wrong and asked if i could give a discount etc. The biggest joke about all this is that the room was described as deluxe. We had been to to the funeral of a young persons that afternoon and were in pieces and had no fight in us to complain just wanted peace in which to mourn or would have complained loudly. the noise from the room above ours was bad too could hear them snoring and water running in pipe in our room from there too. not recommending, sorry.

The pub is in a good location and offers good food for both breakfast and evening meals

if you just want a bed to sleep in and food - it's perfect, no bells and whistles, but big bonus - it's dog friendly!

Stayed just for a night , everyone friendly. It was Saturday and the fish and chip van was a great treat , cooked fresh while you waited with a beer then eaten in the bar. Left in the morning after a very nice breakfast.

You get what you pay for, place clean enough ok for one night. Food average all reheated not made fresh.

The check in was very friendly (done at the pub bar) The room was small but more than adequate for our needs. The breakfast was very good as were the evening meals. Quirky and old fashioned English pub.

I stayed for one night at the 3 Horseshoes during a business trip. Parking was off-road behind the inn in a small carpark. Could get very crowded during busy periods. Check-in was very quick via the barman. He showed me to my single room directly above the bar area and then left me to settle in. Room was small but ok for one. I did not have an ensuite attached but a WC and separate shower room where located directly opposite my room. As the other people staying seemed to be in on the other side of the inn, I had the facilities to myself. Wifi connection was ok but not particularly fast. A point of note - this is an old building with low ceilings, steep stairs and quite a few steps between levels so not really ideal if you are of limited mobility. My room was on the inn front and due to the hot weather I had the window open. Traffic was however low as the village is only small. I did not have an evening meal but the breakfast was very good - choice of cereals with orange juice and full cooked english served to your liking.I got a really good deal for the room and would recommend the inn for its character and location. I would stay again if I was in the area.

Ideal location if working in Milton Keynes and wanting something more homely. Shared bathroom facilities, so be sure that suits you before booking. Great breakfast, so very good value for money. No food in the evening when I arrived - not sure if this is the norm.
