Peaceful garden, very helpful staff, Lee was very accommodating and helpful and the views were lovely.

Our stay at Nova Constantia was blissfully relaxing from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist — their warmth truly enhanced the experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the hearty breakfast, and the crystal-clear pool was the perfect place to unwind. The establishment is well equipped to accommodate both groups and individuals seeking tranquility away from the bustle of city life. With its undeniable charm and close proximity to excellent restaurants — from casual dining spots to award-winning chefs — the location is simply ideal. The added touches, including tennis courts, a pizza oven, and a giant big screen for sporting events, make it feel like a true home away from home — and more. Thank you, Nova Constantia. This is certainly a place to return to whenever visiting Cape Town.

Suite was very comfortable.

Upon arrival very poor welcome by the lady behind the desk. Totally not coöperative, interested or guest friendly. We obviously disturbed her while sleeping. There is NO PORTER service so you have to carry your luggage yourself and clime a steep stairway. For more than €300 per night you might expect someone to assist you. The garage door next to the entrance was wide open both when we arrived and when we left. We were treated with a view of laundry baskets, laundry drying racks and cleaning stuff you don't want to see when you enter a hotel, very strange and not very inviting. The room was very spacious and so was the separate shower and bathroom but everything is very dark and to our opinion a bit out dated. Heavy dark brown curtains, dark brown furniture and bed and carpet on the floor. The hotel is populair among retired english couples. For us it felt like we were in a retirement home. Breakfast was good, friendly kitchen staff and so was the manager.

My husband and I have just spent 3 very enjoyable relaxing weeks at Nova Constantia, a delightful boutique hotel which richly deserves its five star rating. We were in room 7 which is on the ground floor and ticked all the boxes. A very comfortable king size bed, spacious bathroom with separate lavatory and a dressing area with lots of hanging and storage. Also a small kitchenette area with microwave and fridge - very useful. It has its own small patio which gets the evening sun. Thank you to Lee and his team for making our stay so enjoyable.
