Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Downtown

The staff were simply amazing from the front desk to the housekeeping to the valet parking people. It was in a great location and the restaurant food was amazing!!!

Nothing! We have no complaints!

The bar person was knowledgeable and very good with drinks.

The menu was pretty limited for such a nice hotel.

The property is in a great location. Many sights were within walking distance. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The only thing I didn’t like was that the tv was not facing the bed. The tv was placed on the wall to the left, making it difficult to watch tv while you’re in bed.

I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Downtown and, despite the hotel being beautiful and the room comfortable, the experience did not match the price at all. I found a large cockroach in my bathroom and reported it to the front desk in the morning. They were fully aware of the situation. However, when I returned later that day, nothing had been done — the room was not cleaned, the bathroom untouched, and towels were not replaced. Considering the circumstances, this was unacceptable. I was later told housekeeping is only done “every other day,” but situations like this clearly require more attention and basic common sense. Front desk service was also disappointing. Instead of showing concern, I was casually asked if I had been “compensated” and offered 5,000 Bonvoy points without much explanation, which felt dismissive. Breakfast service was extremely slow, with only one person taking orders. Overall, for the price, the service and cleanliness fell well below expectations.

The hotel is beautiful, and the room was comfortable and well-appointed. The overall infrastructure and design are definitely a highlight.
