It was closed to convention center, the lobby bar and restaurant was great!

Clean, spacious room. Four pillows! Perfect location for us.

Lobby was small with only one unisex bathroom.

the plumbing to the bathroom was not sufficient. The drain to the shower was not emptied. i had to take the stopper out so that the water would go down the drain. other than that everything else was fine.

The people who work here couldn't be lovelier--both of them. This hotel is unconscionably understaffed, and it's the fault of executives, no doubt. If you want to stay here and eat elsewhere, do so. But the 40+ seat restaurant has 1 bartender and 1 server. Marriott should take 5 cents of the billions it has saved by, no doubt, using AI, and use it to hire another restaurant server, or at least a busser, or a hostess to handle the checks. The composed and diligent server had to seat, take orders, serve, and check out all of the tables. I wanted 2.5 hours from the time my meal was served to the time I asked for dessert and the check. My total time at the table is now 3.5 hours and counting; almost an hour to order, at least 45 minutes to wait for my food. Their cheerful attitude is baffling; how do they achieve such kind personalities when their job is so impossible? This is just misery, especially for hungry parties or solo diners. Marriott, you have to spend money to make money. I will think long and hard before spending 4 hours for a salmon salad in one of your restaurants ever again.

I was looking for a "reasonably priced," well-reviewed hotel near the Convention Center for a trip to the Flower Show. I was satisfied with my choice. The (two bed) room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, climate control in the room was excellent and quiet. The hotel is very close to the Convention Center so I could return to the room for a rest at mid-day. The room was clean, and the service desk people were helpful and polite. Security seemed good with a doorman and keycard access to elevator from lobby. One amenity that is not mentioned on their website is the microwave for guest use in the same room as the ice machine, a plus for me. Value was acceptable for me with AAA promotion and discount including breakfast; YMMV. The only downside for me was that the decor of the room could best be described as "moody;" greige walls, floors and dark furniture, and subdued lighting. The light at the desk was ok and light in the bath also ok. The towels were thin and scratchy, but there were enough of them so not a problem.

The Courts was previously the Meridian which I stared at in 2023. Before you read the rest the staff were lovely - my complaint is the facilities. When I arrived they welcomed me and talked about how Marriott had upgraded the hotel and they had had a full renovation. Looking around the lobby it looked the same as 2023. My room was upgraded which was nice - I was told a newly renovated room with a great city view. When I got to the room, the view was the air conditioners outside. The room decor has not been upgraded - dirty caulk, grout in the shower with gaps. The rooms also are VERY dark. They only have lamps. The bathrooms have the worst lighting. The mirror is the only light and it is very bright. I ate at the small restaurant. It had a limited menu and three main items were not available at 7:30. What I did have was tasty. The restaurant had not been updated since my last visit which they said it had been. I looked for coffee to go in the morning - it was behind the bar area and one person was serving breakfast and the same person would get your drink.
