"Needs some modernisation"

The location overlooking the river was very peaceful and calm. The breakfast was nice and varied each day and while it was a bit of a walk, it was possible to walk into the main area of Kanazawa. We had a huge room, but the layout was strange, with the toilet being close to the bedroom and the basin being over the other side of the apartment - not ideal for those of us who bother to wash our hands!

The hotel overall needs a bit of modernisation. For what is rated a 4* hotel on Booking.com I would call it s 2* hotel based on UK standards. Having been to other Onsen's during my travels in Japan, this was the first and very nearly put me off for the rest of my trip. It was unpleasantly hot, not overly clean and would not recommend.

Personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile, camere spaziose e con vista stupenda, letti comodissimi. Molto apprezzato la presenza del kimono in camera da poter indossare durante il soggiorno! Posizione ottima, a qualche minuto a piedi dalla fermata del pullman.

Migliorerei la colazione aggiungendo dolci (croissant, spremute, yogurt…)
