Hampton Inn Virginia Beach-Oceanfront South

Just can’t beat the ocean views from the balcony, room was clean, beds were clean, breakfast was delicious! Rooms were nicely updated in style and decor, definitely a good price for a very nice room with ocean front balconies!

$20 to park in the on site parking garage when the Hampton inn oceanfront north has a free parking lot for guests is a bit ridiculous. Beds weren’t the softest but not the hardest either.

The room was clean and comfortable. The towels were soft and fluffy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The ocean view from our balcony was spectacular!!

The doors are very heavy and hard to open. The sliding glass door in our room was super hard to open. I actually had sore arm muscles after our stay. The only other things I didn't like was the lack of low sugar or carb selections at the continental breakfast.

How close it was to the beach and how clean it was

The only thing is that there was isn’t option for people who don’t get beef or pork. No turkey bacon or anything like that. But other then that the breakfast was amazing

The room was excellent. Breakfast was excellent. There was a good variety of things to eat each day. And, overall, the building was clean. The staff did an excellent job. I have always stayed here for the past 4 years.

Well, I did not know that the cost of parking had gone up to $20/day.

That we could bring our pets if we wanted too. I will next time.l

Having to pay to park at the facility

Enjoyed the cozy and clean room. The breakfast was delicious and had good times that it was available. The staff were friendly and helpful. The workout room was amazing, lots of equipment fior a smaller space. The price was reasonable for this time of year. They included a welcome message with your name on the tv screen saver; very charming. I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to doing so again.

I thought the parking fee was included in the booking package; (presented as such), however there were additional fees during check-in. A small portion of the parking fee (incident fee) was refunded. There were some stains on my curtains that were a bit unpleasant, however the overall room cleanliness made up for it.
