"Great hotel"

8.0

Great little hotel. Stayed here for a few days with our children and had a great time. Very relaxed, super quiet and AMAZING and friendly staff. Love it. Food was also great. The pool is great and the small beach nearby is lovely. Loved this hotel. Only criticism is that the rooms could be upgraded.

"Great family hotel, super friendly staff, perfect stay"

10.0

Our 9-day stay in this likeable, family-run hotel was super enjoyable, and I can definitely recommend it. Let me start off by giving praise to Sandra at the reception desk, whose heartfelt, humorous nature is truly unique, and her insider tips for beaches, restaurants, things to go see were priceless. Thank you Sandra! Also Carmen from the kitchen / breakfast crew was so authentically charming, attentive and funny with our two girls, we had a blast. Thank you Carmen! To the hotel itself: our room at ground level wasn't too spacious for 2 adults + 2 kids, but always clean, and well kept. When we arrived there was a bit of an 'AC odour', which got better towards the end. The amenities, pool + bar area as well as the restaurant / breakfast area are clean and inviting. The breakfast and snacks are of good quality and assortment, the daily omelet provided a great start into the day. The surround area is quiet, the nearest beach Cala Pada is just a few minutes to walk. The hotel doesn't have their own parking spaces, so you have to look for a free one alongside the road. There is a somewhat hidden beach promenade you can walk along to get to a variety of beach restaurants. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely consider to revisit.

"Small but perfect"

10.0

Small but perfect. We have just come back from a week at this hotel and we had the best time. Never have I stayed in such a welcoming ,friendly hotel. All the staff with not one exception always had a smile to greet you, you just feel so welcome. Because its a relatively small place the staff are few in number so you see the same people over and again which gives the hotel a family like feeling. The children were particularly warmly welcomed I thought and they always showed them great kindness. Rooms were spacious and clean, house keeping was very good. The air con worked well and the beds were perfect. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our children’s day, a great selection of continental foods and cooked eggs, bacon and crepes. Lots of juices to choose from and a great bean to cup coffee machine. Once again the lady who ran the breakfast service was so super nice, great with the kids and so helpful. The pool is small but with the beach just a minute away so it was fine. It was always clean and well maintained and we never struggled to get sun beds. I was concerned about how shady it might be because of all the trees but there was sun all day if you wanted it. Cala Pada beach is very close and has sun beds and umbrellas available for 7€ each for the day. You can rent a paddle board, kayak or pedalo for 20€ an hour. Water skiing and other motor water sports were available from €20 for 10 minutes. The beach has a life guard who mainly blows his whistle when people jump off the pier but they are very good natured and mostly are just looking out for people when the ferry comes in. There are two restaurants on the beach open from lunch to dinner, we ate at both and enjoyed our food. A good selection for adults and children alike. I think we ate for about 60 - 80€ for 4 of us. Wine and beer are about 3.5€ a glass and soft drink about 2.5€ The ferry which can take you to neighboring beaches and towns and is a lovely way to get around but is very expensive. Cabs are cheaper in to Santa Eulalia (about 10€) the ferry is 8€ one way or 14€ return. Children are considered under 11 and are slightly cheaper. You can also get the bus to Santa Eulalia, I think it was about 8€ for 4 of us. Santa Eulalia is a large town with many restaurants and shops, its very clean and friendly. The beach although we didn’t use them looked quite small but immaculate with all the seaweed removed. I noticed it had good disabled access too. Formentera is an island close to ibiza and we took the ferry for the day to visit it. It was very expensive at 42€ each. Leaving from Cala pada beach at 10am It took 2 hours to get there and we had to change ferry once at Santa Eulalia. It was a nice boat journey but on board they try and sell you bikes and scooters to get to the beaches. We walked to the nearest beach which was maybe a 20 minute walk. It wasn’t spectacular but i believe if you go further the beaches are nicer. There are many many yachts and obviously a lot of money about so everything is expensive. I think lots of people rent a car to get about for day which maybe wise as it was so very hot in August when we were there. You could get taxis to the various beaches but the queue was massive when we got there which is why we walked. The ferry back was at 6pm and we got back to cala pada at about 8pm. Overall we had a great holiday but it is expensive overall for doing things. Boat trips were really expensive compared with other places we have been but then that was prior to Covid.

"Perfect hotel, close to the beach"

10.0

We stayed here with our kids for 5 days end of season. Nice small hotel, close to Cala Pada. Some small restaurants on the beach, which is on walking distance. We had a spacious room with separate bedroom. Very helpful and friendly staff. It feels like a hidden gem. We will for sure come here again.
