"Very Disappointing"

We have stayed at Golden Riviera multiple times in the past and always enjoyed it, which makes this recent experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, the condition of our apartment (Unit 59) was well below standard. There was a strong unpleasant smell throughout, stained carpets, missing blinds, a broken shower screen, and the main bed quilt was extremely dirty. The air conditioning was also very loud and ineffective. While some issues were acknowledged during our stay, there was no real effort to resolve the situation in a meaningful way — no offer to move us to another apartment (despite availability), no compensation, and very little ownership of the overall experience. What was most disappointing was the lack of genuine care in the response afterwards. As a returning guest, I expected a higher level of service and accountability. Sadly, this experience has left a bad impression and we wouldn’t return based on how it was handled.

Location is perfect, proximity to beach and shops let's you leave the car in the car park and just enjoy your stay!

Room is a little dated- that does not devalue the stay as we came for the pool, beach, relaxation and good vibes so we weren't disappointed.
