Garrick House

・The location was outstanding. Walking distance to Macrossan Street, Four Mile Beach and Rex Smeal Park. ・The building is a little old, but it was kept clean and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen and dishes. ・The pool is heated, so even on a chilly day, it was nice to swim. ・The owners were very kind and nice.

Nothing. Very Good Hotel.

We loved our apartment. I was fresh modern and clean apart from a slight bit of mold stuck up under the shelf in the shower (it is a humid place). It was great having a bedroom for us and one for the kids. We enjoyed the balcony out the front as well and we all enjoyed the pool which was clean and lovely and warm with facilities if you wanted to cook outdoors. It was only a short walk the main street, beach, walking trail, and the bars/restaurants. The free onsite parking was also an added bonus for us with a hire car. We also loved the addition of book shelf you could help yourself too during our stay (our kids love reading books). The staff were very helpful with good attractions and places to eat, along with some hot local tips you wouldn't otherwise know, and they always greeted us when they saw us during our stay. The washing machine and clothes dryer were also helpful for doing a load of washing part way through our stay, particularly with the kids.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. We could've done with an extra couch/arm chair in our room but we weren't in there overly much during the day, just in the evenings.
