Proximity- a great location. Near Centre of town and close enough to the waterfront area but not having to be right in both

Nice tropical garden, clean room

The first good impression of a clean room and tropical garden was completely ruined at night. Loud voices, shouting, and noise erupted for two nights in a row, and this continued for several hours, starting at 2 a.m. The receptionist responded to my words with the following: "We can't hear anything here and we don't know anything." Where are the hotel staff if guests can't sleep at night because of the incessant noise? The hotel clearly has no monitoring or security guards who could walk through the grounds at night and find out what's going on. We didn't get enough sleep and will never return to this hotel again.

Location was good. Near restaurants, waterfront and war memorial garden. Friendly staff and reception. Accommodated late stay request. Good breakfast.
