Both dinner and breakfast were enjoyable and the dining area was clean and well presented. Service was quick, helpful and pleasant. The hotel was adequately warm and pleasant to enter after the cold outside. The hotel is centrally located and easy to access.

The shower only had a plastic curtain screen which let the water flow onto the bathroom floor which could be quite dangerous. Consideration should be given to installing glass screens.

Quirky but friendly hotel with historic characteristics. Lovely, scenic and very quiet location. Very different from other hotels we have stayed in.

Beds were a bit firm for us.
