The location !

Almost 30 degrees and no air conditioning. Told reception about it and we were met "open the door and let the sea air in" .... fan only worked on the unit. . Reception was not interested in trying to get it sorted.. humidity was very high and it was a very unsettled and uncomfortable night. Reception advised there were NO other rooms available for us to move into however the signage out the front the establishment clearly stated "vacancy" ... Signage in room said not to have air con on OVER 21 as it would shut the air con off. This shows they are aware of the issue. Reception staff advised that the persons who had the room before must have caused the issue. Not sure why that is on me to deal with and accept. For $350 a night, having a functioning air conditioner is expected. Found the reception staff member not helpful and not approachable. We requested an early check in and a later check out as it was our anniversary , we were told we could arrive from 12.30pm onwards. We arrived at 12.15pm and were made to feel as though they were doing US the favour. We thought we would have a discussion with reception when we checked out about the unpleasant night... reception closed... put yiur keys in a key box were the instructions Won't be back !!

Loved it all. The reason for my score for staff is because I did not get to meet or need to meet any staff.

Location and clean

It smelt. Charged for an executive room but got a standard room. No staff. Mattress needs replacing

The location is definitely the strongest point of this property. It is very close to the beach and the marina, and within easy walking distance to the main street. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops nearby, which makes dining and getting around very convenient.

The apartment itself is quite dated, and the facilities feel old. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, which made it uncomfortable, especially after showering. Before our stay, the hotel emphasized strict noise control and a no-party policy, stating that they reserve the right to end a guest’s stay if the policy is not followed. However, in reality, the sound insulation was very poor. The rooms are extremely close to each other, and the balconies are not fully sealed — there are visible gaps where you can even see into neighbouring balconies. As a result, we were disturbed by neighbouring guests who started talking loudly on their balcony from around 7am and continued again in the evening. This significantly affected our sleep quality, despite the hotel’s stated noise policy. In addition, the neighbours were smoking on their balcony. I am not sure whether this is permitted, as our room clearly indicated that it is a non-smoking property. The smoke easily travelled into our room through the balcony gaps, which was very unpleasant. Overall, the experience did not match the hotel’s description or expectations set by their stated policies.
