Loved the location. Facilities great. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We were a group of 3 families with 3 apartments. The tariff for each apartment was the same. The furnishings, bathrooms, patio furniture etc varied. The apartment we were in 27B had everything we needed but it was very basic, bathrooms, fridge, couches, coffee table all needed upgrading. The quality of these things in the two other apartments, 18B and 30 A were of a higher quality.

It was close to the beach but we could have found better than this apartment.

They gave us the 6th floor, we sent mail them “please change our room it is very noisy we can’t sleep”. They replied “You booked an economy apartment, which are all on the 2nd and 3rd floors but we have already given you a free complimentary upgrade before your arrival to a garden apartment with air con in bedrooms and modern bathroom and kitchen. This is already far quieter than the apartment you originally paid for“ but we paid $500 per night just to have a good vacation. That’s very rude I couldn’t say anything because of my kids they didn’t want any trouble. But it seems that ripping people off is done quite well. We couldn't sleep this week because of the drilling noise upstairs of your repairs. We had to wake up early at 9 am because of your noise. The glass cups in the kitchen smelt terrible, we couldn't drink anything until we cleaned it thoroughly because of the smell. When we first arrived at the building, that smell bothered us all. They should first get their own hallway carpets professionally cleaned. Also we were sharing the apartment with the cockroaches and this people are talking to us about smelling !!! We paid nearly $10.000 It wasn't worth the money we paid, I had the most miserable and sleepless holiday.

I stayed at the Aegean 4 years ago and really enjoyed my stay. I was quite disappointed with this particular apartment however. Firstly we were put in the wrong layout. We opted for 1 room with 2 single beds and 1 room with a queen. Instead we got 2 rooms with 2 queens. I talked to management to change this and had to have 4 phone calls and an argument with one of the staff to have the error rectified. She then told me, I would only receive a trundle bed free of charge (tried to charge me $30per night) because of the fact we weren’t a couple. Not because they stuffed up, which they had. The apartment we got seemed like it was furnished with tired furniture that had been swapped in from other apartments. The room couch faced away from the incredible view (best part of the booking), the outside furniture was left over pool furniture with no table and there was not ample supplies for the 6 days we had booked. 1 tiny soap per bathroom and very few things in the kitchen.
