Aegean Apartments

The apartment was spacious.

The cream coloured couch was stained and dirty. We had to put a bed sheet over it before sitting.

Everything exceeded expectations will come back.

The location of the apartment is right in the middle of Surfers Paradise with a short walk (less than 5mins) to all types of restaurants, take away food shops, attractions, beach, Cavill Ave Mall, tram station (Surfers Paradise) less than 2mins walk. Stayed on the 6th floor and had ocean views, street views, mountain views and sunrise & sunset where very picturesque. The room was very spacious and clean with lots of windows, kitchen had all the facilities for in house cooking, cooking utensils and cutlery, generous size TV and easy set up for streaming your favourite shows. Communication on arrival (after hours key collection) was seamless and easy with clear instructions.

All was great for our stay.

Very bad and dirty

Very disappointing experience at Aegean Apartments Surfers Paradise. I booked a 6-night stay and specifically paid extra for a luxury apartment with air conditioning in the bedroom, as clearly shown in the listing photos. However, when I arrived, there was NO air conditioning in the bedroom — only in the kitchen/living area. This was not what I paid for. Because of this, I could not stay and checked out after 1 night. The manager promised me a refund if I returned the key, so I trusted this and booked another place. But later, the property refused the cancellation and did not honor their promise. The manager also refused to give me any written proof that I checked out and returned the key. Additionally, I found spiders both on the balcony and inside the apartment, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. Customer service was very poor, and the manager was not respectful or helpful at all. I would not recommend this place. Be careful when booking.

The location is good, close to shops and the beach, the apartment had a nice ocean view as well as the city view. The property is very big, with large bedrooms and a very spacious living area. The bed i. Master bedroom was very comfortable. I hate soft beds and this bed was just perfect for my back.

The curtains are old, dirty and had signs of mould, carpets really need a deep clean, aircons had mould on the swing housing. Very little supply of bathroom essentials, cleaning detergents and on the paper with instructions it was said that the minimum is provided, the rest we have to get ourselves. It’s a joke not to provide toilet paper. The kettle at the kitchen really needs to be replaced.

Our apartment was well located - close to trams, shops, restaurants, cafes, rivers & beach. It was was modern looking, clean, well maintained & fully equipped. The view from the 29th floor was spectacular.

No dislikes.
