Potshot Hotel Resort

Located close to town shops, restaurants. Plenty of power points by the bed.

Nowhere to put suitcases except the floor. Only 1 chair in the room, no table. Fridge door had build up of greasy dirt from hands. Luggage storage (after check out) was full of litter.

The room was great. The location was great. And the staff were very friendly.

Remembering that they have just had a cyclone go thru the town so things can not be perfect. But the TV did not work and we had a water leak outside. so we had to keep turning the water meter off so we didn't flood the area.

We had a 2 bedroom unit. It was spacious and well appointed. The unit had it's own BBQ and 2 outdoor areas to relax. It would be great for a couple or a family for a few days stay. It was well located.

The location was really good!

There was some miscommunication between staff members regarding my booking. I called to ask whether it would be possible to change my reservation dates, even though I was 6 days away from check-in instead of the required 7 days stated in the policy. The staff member I spoke with discussed it with a supervisor and explicitly confirmed that changing the dates would be fine and that there would be no cancellation fees, especially since I was staying for an extended period. Based on that confirmation, I adjusted several of my other travel bookings. However, when I later tried to change the dates through Booking.com, the request was denied because it supposedly did not comply with the policy. I explained that the change had already been approved by their staff member, and this confirmation was even visible in the chat history. Despite this, they still refused to honor what I had been told. As a result, I ended up with overlapping bookings and additional unnecessary costs. What disappointed me was that they denied any responsibility for the misinformation provided by their own staff. If a guest is misinformed by personnel acting on behalf of the accommodation, it would be courteous and professional for the accommodation to take responsibility rather than placing the consequences entirely on the guest

we needed a bed for the night and bus to airport pickup - our need was met, notably location, air-conditioning, shower and space

the floor felt sticky, would prefer a second mirror in room, only one chair, no table

Comfy beds good location

Would have liked a cafe for breakfast in the hotel.
