Hotel Laguna

We had a very nice top floor apartment with balconies overlooking the pool on one side and the Noosa waterway on the other. The apartment was well equipped and very spacious. The pool area is sunny and well sheltered although the water is on the cool side. The hotel is very convenient for the shops on Hastings, the Noosa Spit and the beach. A 20 minute walk to the national park too. It's just above the Noosa Heads ferry dock too.

1. There is no elevator/lift in the building so it's a struggle to get large suitcases to the top (3rd) floor. The entrance to the stairs is from the parkade which is rather dark and unwelcoming. 2. The apartment has no safe so you need to give valuables to the hotel reception for safekeeping in their safe. 3. We found three roach-like insects in the apartment and told the manager who gave us an insect spray and didn't see any more after using it. Maybe they flew in the patio doors. We kept the doors shut after that-there are no bug screens on the doors. 4. We came away from our stay at Noosa Heads with dozens of very itchy insect bites on our arms and legs. We are not sure where we got them and never saw any insects flying or crawling on our skin. There are reportedly sandflies at Noosa but we never saw any. Having said that, we enjoyed our stay at Noosa Heads. It's a truly beautiful place, with stunning coastal scenery, many great restaurants, a fabulous calm white sand beach, an excellent array of shops, and an all-round perfect vacation destination. But insect repellent is recommended...

Location, views , comfort.

Would like to have had a designated parking space. I managed to get parked on arrival and didn’t move it until I left as wasn’t sure I’d get parked again so took Ubers

The location on Hastings Street was fantastic. Everything at your fingertips. The river view room was great. We spent lot of time out on the balcony watching the comings and goings on the river.

The studio room was lovely but not very spacious.

Kitchen facilities were plentiful and large fridge

The advertising on the room I purchased showed a balcony view of the pool area and also the river view. Upon arrival the balcony view was a tin roof looking at Hastings Street. No lift was difficult in unloading being on 3rd floor. No towel change in the room without a fee. Downlights in lounge and bedroom were flickering.
