This hotel was amazing. I had my own little villa all to myself - didn't know what to do with all the space! No air con but the temperature cooled off at night so the rooms weren't too hot and a fan was provided if needed. The grounds were pretty and well-kept. The complex is quite spread out so finding your villa at first can be a challenge but everything is well-signposted. The location of the hotel is right on the lakefront and right at the end of the main street so everything is easy walking distance. Dinner in the restaurant was good, the sticky date pudding was a little dry and a very big portion but apart from that it was fine and they did accommodate our tour group with different dinner times to ensure we all got dinner before or after our glow worm trips so that was much appreciated My only real regret was only having one night here and not actually spending a lot of time in the villa as I was out making the most of the short time we had in Te Anau

We had a villa which was fine although I am not sure it was Deluxe as described in our itinerary. The kitchen facilities were very limited (a fridge and a flat surface) but we had breakfast booked (which was very good) so not really a problem. There were chairs and an ashtray outside the adjacent villa door which as non smokers was a bit off putting but they did not appear to be used while we were there. The staff here were really helpful and deserve a special mention.

We stayed in a villa which was very comfortable and quiet. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
