The Islander Noosa Resort

Big space, amazing tennis court, very lovely staff, pool was beautiful, apartment was amazing!! Had its own garage, balcony, kitchen, aircon etc. location was also wonderful.

Our apartment unit 25 was completely renovated, the showers were wonderful lots of pressure. It had a great washer and dryer with liquid supplied. All rooms had TVs which was great and the kitchen had an awesome giant fridge and fully equipped to cook up a dinner. It's a two-story unit so it was great to also have a toilet downstairs in the laundry area. The pool was lovely as well and the gardens. Being in the Airbnb industry I was very happy with the cleanliness of the apartment. The staff were super helpful and friendly and the restaurant out the front was fabulous for breakfast and gave a discount to eat there for staying at the Islander Noosa. There are lots of other restaurants all around the hotel so super convenient and most gave a discount to eat there the full list of restaurants giving a discount are in the hotel book in the unit. Woolworths was only a short 2 min drive away. The carpark was easy to find and under cover.

The only thing to be aware of is it's a walk up so one set of stairs to get up to the unit and then another set up get up to your room. So if you have a heavy bag its a bit of a mission!

I liked that the appartments felt really homely. The decor was lovely. They thought of everything in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry with extra things Like ziplock bags, plenty of washing powder and a decent hairdryer. The bed was also very comfortable. The pool facilities are suitable all year around with a heated pool, 2 spas and 2 normal pools.

The games room could do with a good upgrade, and adding more for kids to do would be great- playground, bike hire, jumping pillow

Lucy at the front desk was very friendly and professional during our stay. I travel with special needs people for work and she was understanding and patient during check in as well as being helpful answering any questions we had. Great work! The cleanliness of the room was great also as well as the swimming pool and Spa. We both had a great time at the Islander.

Unfortunately our included wifi didn’t work for the trip, didn’t personally need it and was informed that it might be off due to upgrades so not trip ruining but still meant we couldn’t watch a movie in our room.

Great proximity to shops and restaurants. Poolside room was terrific. BBQ area was wonderful. Spas were heated which was great in the rainy weather. Rooms were clean and modern. Great to have two bathroom areas.

Perhaps a cover over the emergency stop button in the spa area, as little children love RED and one of ours touched it, which set it into a lockdown time and then the next day another person did the same, which meant when I went to use it, it was off for repair or reset, so I couldn't enjoy it. I think there is a solution to this problem.
