The owners are very nice and friendly!

The grounds were so beautiful with many different types of tropical vegetation scattered throughout the property. The room was roomy with a very nice large shower. Very quiet!

Very quiet. Off the main drag. You can be right in all the action and noise and then go 6 blocks away and have peace and quiet to rest or sleep. Very close to beach and everything else. It’s about as bare bones, just the necessities, as it gets but it has everything you need and the staff is friendly and professional. I’d def go back.

We loved this hotel. The location was great, and the small size — typical of Costa Rica — was perfect for privacy. We were usually able to go to the pool and not see any other guests (in the afternoon and evening). The owners were nice whenever we interacted with them, and the other small team of staff (who cooked breakfast, cleaned, answered questions and manned reception) were wonderful as well! Everyone was so nice. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointee, but we kept getting mosquitos despite always having the doors closed. Seriously, we would open the door for 1 second and run behind each other. Nevertheless, new mosquitos every day. I guess it comes with the territory! We had so much bug repellent, it was fine. The pool was warm and clean. The breakfast was the same every day but wonderful and delicious: pinto, eggs, fresh fruit, toast, orange juice, coffee. We walked to the beach/main strip of town every day. It was an easy and short walk!

Liked the orientation of our room. It was nice to have the beds offset, rather than side by side - gave me and my travel partner a little more privacy. The room had everything we needed and was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was also great.
