Convenient to where we were going.

Only one hand towel provided so could not shower Cardboard cups and sticks. Couldn't fit the kettle under the tap in the bathroom, so had to fill it with the cup. A nice gesture would have been to provide bottled water. We had only just got back to the property when we had a knock at the door from someone to check if we were in, which we have never experienced before, we are not teenagers we are in our 70s .

Stayed here before on business. Very clean, tidy and comfy. Great garden for children to play in and eat outside. Plenty of parking.

Member of staff on duty when we were there did not know there were breakfast options. We were told it was only full english and we prefer continental. Same member did not offer vegetables with the evening meal. Again as she was new we think she had not either been informed or remembered. When the owner was on duty for our second night vegetables were available. Only on the morning we were leaving (we had had snacks in our rooms) we found out about the breakfast. The meals we had in the evening were good and the homemade pie was great.

We hadn't fully realised before we went that the pub was only open part time. We wanted to play board games but there was no-where easy to do so. We managed in one of the bedrooms. Our fault for not reading it properly.

Lovely location with a beautiful garden to drink beer. Food was excellent and reasonably priced too!. Excellent car park. Staff were the best 👌

Rooms a little dated with a small bathroom but not a real criticism.

The property has plenty of parking as you turn off the road , the entrance was just a short walk away with lots of pretty tubs of flowers , I had a warm welcome for the staff and was shown to my room, which was lovely and spacious with an ensuite shower room . Tea and coifed facilities were provided along with biscuits . The food I had was delicious (burger) and the wine was also lovely . A great beer garden with lots of seating and also a covered seated area . Lots of flowering shrubs for an English garden feel . Breakfast was cooked beautifully along with chilled orange and cappuccino. I had an amazing nights sleep and would definitely stay again
