Residence Le Fonsérane - Vacancéole

Good location, little outside Beziers. Just be aware that this is an apartment, so no towels and no soap. And single rooms have sofa sleepers, no proper beds.

The information for this self catering hotel was not very clear. It is not a hotel as you would expect from the pictures on the web and I found it misleading. On arrival all the gate into the premisses we locked with no response when we rang the entry button. We had to squeeze through the gates to gain entry and enter the reception which was closed all day on Sundays. We rang the telephone number on the info sheet at reception only to find the phone ringing in the office which no one answered. We decided to locate another hotel to stay which we did and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I stayed at Le Fonserane for 7 days. There isn't much to say about the apartment; it's clean and quite and worth for the price you pay. The only problem would be the location. If you are planning to go to Beziers for a conference that is in the city then it'd be better to find a hotel in the city centre. Last public transport is at 8pm and it costs about €15 to get to the apartment from the city centre by taxi.

These apartments are not very difficult to find, they are almost impossible to find and the map is no help. The gardens were littered and the reception was not open when it should be. We had to ring the concierge to get access.
