Location and helpful staff

Old rundown room.. No elevator.. Smell of marijuana as soon as you enter the hotel.. Feeling of not feeling safe

I liked having a place to stay while looking for housing.

The rude staff member with dyed red hair. I already gave a review that caused Ms. F. Cocca to email me an apology.

The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The staff though friendly and accommodating, hung out in the front of the building smoking. I smoke but it's very unprofessional to be hanging out smoking with your co-workers at the front door! A few feet away was another employee that was smoking pot. I don't care if someone for various reasons smokes marijuana but not all guests are laid back. I actually thought it was a little funny but not all patrons would overlook it even though it's legal. The Continental Breakfast was the worst I've ever seen! No pastries, bagels or bread for toast. No juice of any type. Not even milk for your coffee! Yes, no milk! Not even boxed cereal or fresh fruit. My room had to be changed because nothing worked, just the light switch. No one offered to help me with my luggage until the last minute. I get the impression that this hotel gets a lot of "riff-raff" possibly cliental that most hotels couldn't give a room to based on price.
