The place was lovely with a good downtown location with easy access to red bus tours and nearby restaurants. Breakfast was very good and reasonable priced. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The loud music playing nearby until very late into the night and even after midnight was annoying and kept us from sleeping.

A superbly restored historical building! A wonderful blend of old and new. My room was huge and very comfortable, the staff very helpful. Breakfast was delicious!

The hotel is in the heart of Cape Town, a great location. But there was noise from outside until about midnight.

My wife and I were greeted by a compliment of smiling and helpful front of house staff members. Check-in was immediate and we were escorted to our beautiful room. Everything was spotless, clean linen, fresh towels and possibly the largest bathroom ever. It was our wedding anniversary and the Cape Heritage Hotel gifted us a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate. Breakfast the following day was a lovely buffet and an extended menu where I had a scrumptuous Spanish omellette. A huge thank you to everyone for an amazing stay. Next time will definitely be an extended stay.

The city can get quite loud in the late evening. Perhaps an extra layer of window glass will dull the acoustics of the sound on the street level below. We felt very unsafe walking towards Green Market Square 2 roads away after dinner, and immediately turned back, yet was totally safe going to the restaurants around us in the square and across the road.
