Great place with lovely staff. Breakfasts each day are delicious. Close to beach, dining and shopping.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Coronado. I didn't realize when we booked it that it had quiet hours! And it really was the quietest place I've ever slept. Very close to the beach and restaurants, but we heard nothing all night, not even the other guests. The room was large and clean--bathroom was spotless--and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was just right. We appreciated the, cheerful staff. Worth every penny.

Lived completely up to our high expectations. Friendly and helpful staff, quiet comfortable and well-appointed room, the happy hour with wine and added extras, and the wonderful breakfasts. All within a short walk of Orange Ave. After multiple stays at the Del (too crowded, busy and expensive), we will return again to 1906.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Close to the theater. Very nice staff. Nice breakfast and they have alternate milk options for those of us with allergies. Will definitely go again

Great location rooms are nice and it has a warm friendly atmosphere. Staff are excellent and really look after you.Can be a bit noisy from traffic so need to get a room set back if available.Nice breakfast and happy hour, spotless clean.

My son planned a surprise proposal and engagement party over Mother's Day weekend and our home base for the weekend was the 1906 Lodge, we had three rooms, two in the main house [Historical] and one in the Garden building. We could not have been more pleased with our stay. Accommodations, common areas, breakfast, happy hour, just wonderful. Great staff, morning, noon and night. The proximity to Hotel Del and Orange Ave is a huge plus. They also provide cruiser 6 bikes at no cost for 2 hour rental intervals.

Wir haben drei Nächte hier verbracht und uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Es war unsere erste Unterkunft auf unserem ungeplanten Roadtrip. Die Lodge ist wirklich sehr gemütlich, auch der Hof ist wunderschön gestaltet. Die Umgebung lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein. Es gibt fußläufig zahlreiche Restaurants in der Nähe. Am liebsten wären wir länger dort geblieben. Zum Strand kommt man auch zu Fuß. Das tolle Frühstück war täglich mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Wir möchten uns vor allem bei der lieben Mitarbeiterin bedanken, die uns bei der Stornierung unserer Hawaii-Flüge sehr geholfen hat. Dies ist nicht selbstverständlich. Wir können diese Lodge zu 100% weiterempfehlen.
