Le Domaine de Manon

Apartment v uncomfortable due to lack of air conditioning/climate control.Nights were sweaty nightmare of exhaustion mixed with dehydration. Apartment reasonably big & facilitated but bed settee's were most uncomfortable place to sit ever. Apartment not well cleaned on arrival. Fridge & kitchen area too small. Not easy place to find; needs signage/direction boards etc. Drive up mountains to get there quite scary in a few places & much higher climb than expected (>2,000ft above sea level) - very sharp bends/large drops that will intimidate those cautious or nervous of heights/drops. Found out after arriving that all routes mean a steep windy climb no matter what direction you come from as situated high up on a plateau. Also often v windy here which was not mentioned anywhere but was apparently unusually still during our stay. Nearby arifield irritation; loud droning noise of small aeroplane performing aerobatics daily for hours on end. Restaurant offered fair-ish choice of well presented food but portion size too small for main course of sea bream we opted for on one occasion; probably less than 2oz! Other options seemed to be small as well & far too pricey but moules frites offered excellent value. No other restaurants around so be prepared to drive a few miles or off the plateau for good affordable eating. 30 mins to south coast. Le Beausett (5 miles) has a few restaurants & supermarkets. Still had some memorable moments & views are amazing!

La résidence est située dans une zone industrielle assez calme au mois d'août. La résidence est propre, calme et l'appartement était spacieux et le personnel sympa et disponible mais discret La piscine est bien et le seul défaut serait le manque de transat. Une salle de sport, une table de ping-pong, un boulodrome et un terrain de volley sont disponibles dans cette résidence. De nombreuses plages à moins de 30 minutes en voiture qui est indispensable. Pas très loin de Marseille ou de Toulon.

Séjour agréable , très beau cadre. Je trouve les maisons très jolie et fonctionnel a l'intérieur . La résidence à été facile à trouver, c'est très bien indiqué . La réception est aimable et accueillante. Je referais volontiers le même séjour!

Nous avons séjourné dans cette résidence à l'occasion d'un petit week-end en amoureux pour le pont du 14 Juillet. Et franchement, nous avons été enchantés. Nous y avons trouvé tout ce dont un peut rêver pour un week-end des plus agréables. L'appartement (108) était très bien décoré, moderne et très confortable, parfaitement bien équipé, et très propre. L'accueil absolument parfait bien que nous n'y passions qu'une nuit. Tout le personnel a été très gentil et dévoué. Nous ne pouvons que chaudement recommander le Domaine de Manon, où nous passerons encore volontiers un autre week-end.

it was a big mistake. the hotel far from everywhere. taxi cost 45€ from Bandol! the supermarket is 15 minutes by car! the internet cost 8 € daily! no Saboon! no Towels! no warm water at the shower! the sofa bed was uncomfortable .... the restaurant was closed! beside all of this just after the payment done they notice me about the 3.07€ extra taxes! but the girls from the reception were helpful، honestly.

This is far from everything. We booked this hotel because we wanted a pool for our children to play in after all day in a car. The pool was nice sized but it was not heated so it was of little use. The bed was very hard as were the pillows. They provide a full kitchen with plates and silverware but they expect you to wash it all before you leave and take the garbage out. I would not stay here again.

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful region. Unfortunately we had our passports stolen (through no fault of the hotel) and the staff were incredibly helpful and able to support is with everything we needed. They are a real asset to the place. The hotel is in what some people may call a remote area but that means it's quiet and surrounded by the beautiful mountains and valleys. A car is therefore essential. Local facilities and everything you may need are only a 10 minute drive away. The rooms are also very well equipped for cooking (if self catering) and provide pretty much everything you need. Well worth a visit

Our credit card was booked immediately after booking - several months before check-in and expiration of cancellation period. We arrived to the hotel for festival conducted on Paul Ricard Circuit nearby. Surroundings of the hotel are spacious, but not yet full of vegetation, probably because the hotel is quite new. We booked studio for two with kitchenette (it is not just sink, surface and table - it is fully equipped with kitchenware). Room was reasonably and expectedly small. We arrived in the middle of the day, it was very hot around, but room was properly air conditioned and window shields were half open to preserve this coolness. You can see stripe of sea from your window. One of the surprises was very light folding bed, so if you seat on one side, be sure to put someone on another - to balance and not to fall on the floor. pool was clean and not crowded, but water could be slightly warmer. It is mentioned in hotel description that you should pay for WiFi - in fact it is free, you can claim your card on reception. Breakfast was proposed separately, but looking at variety of drinks and only croissant as a food we decided to use our kitchenette instead. Before checkout you are supposed to clean your room and kitchen ware, however you are not provided with washing liquids. I think, due to that fact some of glasses were not that clean. We forgot jacket in wardrobe and staff was helpful in resolving the problem. So, place is worth the stay.

I took up our room(chamber) on 27/08/2011 at 11:45 pm and there surprised!!! Beds the same step makes, no hand towels. I had to call the person in charge in plain harms, so that they supply us, of what lie down(go to bed) and to wash himself. And we had to make bed we even at 00:30 am. The following morning I saw the same person who supplied us sheets and towels(briefcases), he said to us that it came from an IT problem. For my part I do not believe it excess!
