Budget Inn Long Praire

we enjoyed our stay got in late after driving all day so just enough time to go to sleep and then get up and shower to start driving again... shower was hot and beds were conferrable

The Budget Inn Long Prairie has very clean rooms. They are older but the price reflects that also. I will stay there again next year.

Though the owner seemed nice enough, the battery was dead in our smoke detector when we stoned and the room was gross. It appeared clean at face value, but the sheets were actually filthy (some sort of orange substance) on both beds and there was an empty chew can on the floor next to the bed.

No bathroom light.it was decent. Guy was nice even though I booked wrong day.

The bathrooms were dirty. There is a Slaughterhouse in town and the smell was absolutely disgusting. The kids were pinching there noses closed. Adults were gagging.

When i booked online, one of my criteria was that i wanted pet friendly but the first rooms to come up were nonsmoking. Not one listed said that these rooms were NOT for pets. They were the first ones listed. Please, please, if i ask for pet friendly rooms, list them first!!!

The bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. Cleaners need to clean in corners, by the hinges on the toilet stool and the soap basin in the shower. This is an older motel that has had a face-lifting of sorts. Also, the shower head was barely 5 feet off of the floor. Had to stoop to wash my hair.

I would have stayed at Bates motel over this place! They made us stay in a smoking room because we had a pet. That should have been written in the small print. The room smelt so bad like stale smoke it was sickining! The only plus was it killed the smell of the mildew in the bathroom. Towels and sheets had staines all over them. The whole place could use a bleach bath.

It was very comfortable and close to my family and quiet.

Owners very nice. Let me check in early. Rooms are old and dated. Carpet needs replacement. Bathroom was gross - not clean at all. Only stayed one night so doable.
