Springhill Suites by Marriott Temecula Wine Country

Stayed two nights with a family of five. Got in late the first night. I requested extra blankets thru the app but never got them. So went to pick them up from the front desk the next morning. Breakfast is pretty standard but felt a little subpar compared to other places. We discovered there were ants in our room on the third floor in the bathroom thru a bit of rotted wall. The shower was really difficult to use and we almost thought it was flat broken. I slept on the sofa, which you just sleep on the regular sofa cushions, there’s also a roll out for a sixth person to sleep. It’s very uncomfortable. I woke up both mornings not feeling well rested and sore. Not my favorite stay.

Great service, breakfast and location

Staff very friendly & accommodating. Old Town Temecula is 4 min by car & walkable. Very nice continental breakfast. My kids enjoyed the pool area. I would definitely stay again!

Same breakfast every morning. Room was nice and seemed clean but found ants in the shower. Convenient location to shops and wineries.

The staff was warm, friendly and very helpful! The breakfast had so many delicious options . The location was close to Old Town as well as the wineries. I will definitely stay here again in the future!

Clean and quality

We stayed for only one night and had an event that finished after the check out time. I called to ask for a late check out but was denied. So we had to rush back, pack and get out of there. The hotel was not accommodating to have an extended 1 hour late check out.

Stayed for 3 nights and was told we would get 1 house cleaning service - fresh towels, etc, well, that never happened. The walls were so thin we could hear people talking and packing at 4am. Someone flashing the toilet next door was so loud it would wake us up despite ear plugs. Water in the shower was barely warm, loose floor tiles, loud motel style ac in the wall.. just to name a few. Continental breakfast was good and tasty. The indoor pool was nice and warm, but the pool towels were very frail and lint covered our bodies and clothes as if we died ourselves on a shedding dog.. Maybe our expectations were too high, but it’s just felt more like a motel level. Rooms certainly need updating, room service to be more reliable.

Great rooms and close to everything

On the first night the noise from the interstate was horrendous. Even with ear plugs. Very little sleep especially after 4 am. Next morning we asked to be moved and they said it would be about 2 hours wait. Having packed we went to reception after 1 1/2 hours to then be told there were no rooms possible (quiet rooms only for Marriott members - which I am- housekeeping issues etc etc). It wasn’t pleasant. So noisy and then bad communication and a delay to our planned day. Just horrible. Don’t stay unless you can take hearing aids out at night! Shame as the facilities in the hotel are good for the price
