Beautiful property

The location is a tourist trap Keith is excellent at hosting however any money you save you will spend on taxis trying to get off the hill of this isolated location every time you come out you will spend and it not really walking distance to anywhere

Apartment Espoir is a lovely property with spectacular views of the ocean and good access to the beach. The apartment was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Also, it is located fairly close to Rodney Bay and Pigeon Island with many attractions and amenities. The plunge pool on the property is surrounded by vegetation which provides shade and a nice atmosphere. It is very refreshing and pleasant, especially that there are lounge chairs around it. Keith is a helpful host and tries to make your stay comfortable and nice. We stayed at his place for a week in the Standard Queen Room. The description says the apartment size is 100m2. It is about half that size. Also, in the online pictures, there are two lounge chairs on the balcony of the Standard Queen room. I double-checked that. I was looking forward to using those when I was booking it, as it allows you to relax on the balcony with a beautiful view, but we were told the lounge chairs were not available for our room.

The three parking spots are very tight even though there is some space on the side to make them wider if some building materials were removed. That would make a major positive difference to guests, many of whom have to manoeuvre backwards in a narrow space with a deep drop on one side of the parking lot. Also, the bottom stair in the staircase going down from our apartment (No. 10) was lower than the rest of the stairs which caused both of us to trip, and myself to fall and twist my ankle. I hope Keith will paint the border of that bottom step white which would make it visible to people coming down the stairs. It's a matter of basic safety and a twisted ankle makes it impossible to drive, or enjoy many other planned activities. Not to mention that someone could fall and hurt themselves more seriously. The wifi was somewhat spotty. Unfortunately, we needed to occasionally work online, and it wasn't always reliable. Keith allowed me to use his office once so that I could do my work.

Beautiful hidden gem. Tucked away and super quiet with fabulous gardens and birdlife and very friendly and helpful staff. Loved the pool and easy access to the beach.

Nearby restaurants are limited if you don’t have a car

Absolutely loved the place Keith couldn't have been more helpful, arranging our airport pick up with Toney who we also used all week. Both Keith and Toney are a wealth of knowledge. The grounds of the apartment are excellent so many birds and two species of bats visit after the sunset. If not using Toney for the longer trips, the buses are simple to use and cheap. The beach at the property is as good as any on the island, there is a steep ramp to the property which is only tough when the sun's out 😂 There are places to eat on the main road and a local supermarket we went to Flavours of the grill and the food was great. Can't say too much more because you really need to go yourself and enjoy both Keith's place and the hospitality of the Lucia people. I can guarantee you will be wanting for nothing between Keith and Toney you are in safe hand and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Having to leave

The property is quaint, well maintained and very neat. It’s within a short walking distance to a beach and some local amenities.

Just as a heads up - you will be required to carry your own luggage to and from your room, up and down a few flights of stairs. This normally shouldn’t be a problem if you don’t have mobility issues or if your bags aren’t heavy.

Keith is a gracious host. This was our first visit to St Lucia and we had general questions. Keith was very helpful with everything. Great location - a little off the beaten path but stores and restaurants aren't far away. The apartment was clean with all of the amenities we needed. It's not a fancy stuffy resort, but a great place with personality! I'll be staying here again when I return!

the Silent Surrounding & Pool & beach access & wifi

Owner didnt allowed late check atleast by 2 hrs he told check out time is 11.30 i requested to allow us 1 pm extension as i wasnt knowing regarding it he started to say this is not at all goood & all & worst being a studio apartment they only gave us 2 bottle of water small one for 3 nights
