La Quinta by Wyndham Ft. Worth - Forest Hill, TX

I was notified upon check in that I had to come up with $100 deposit and this was NEVER mentioned at any time during booking . All I can do is hope now that it is refunded like they stayed . Robert was very kind and helpful . So was the Hispanic gentleman working . The woman however was not . The room and overall quality was great . The pool was cloudy and had bugs in it . I was sad that the hot tub was filled in they should have let us know this seeing as how I specifically searched for a hotel with a hot tub and they showed to have one . Our license plate was stolen from the parking lot and she refused to let us see camera footage . We called the police and made a report . I probably won’t use this hotel again due to the situation and the deposit thing . I however was grateful to have an American English speaking attendant !

The property was nothing grand. I requested a close to the door room as my mother has difficulty getting around. Got a 3rd floor room. She didn’t want me to get it changed as we were too tired at that point. The room was ok but the bathroom door wouldn’t close because it scraped the floor. The hallway smelled like vending machine cologne from the 70’s.

Nasty. Disgusting. Blood on toilet at checkin. Housekeeping never came to clean room. Roaches. AC didn't work good. They have black mold in the AC.

The pillows were small and lumpy. The bath towels were the size for an adolescent rather than an adult. Fortunately, it was a one night stay so I was able to manage. Had the stay been more than one night I would’ve requested better, less used pillows. Otherwise, everything was good.

We got a very spacious 1 bedroom king room. It had a standard bathtub which was nice. Bed was comfortable.

It lacked a table/coffee table in the living room area to sit and eat if we wanted. There was ZERO lighting. Pictures show a floor lamp. That floor lamp is non existent. Lighting in this hotel is HORRIBLE. The bedroom had two super dim side lights by the bed and that's it! The room was so dark u cant dress or do anything in there. And that is the only room with a full length mirror to dress in. Forget trying to see anything! The living room area only had two lights ibstalled in the ceiling sode by side in the halway by the doorway and one small light above the bar area and thats it. No lighting in the seating area where the tv and couch are, where the photo shows a floor lamp, but there was none. We asked the staff about the lighting and lack of floor lamp and we were simply told *the rooms have inadequate lighting* so they are aware of the issue. Another thing that I was pretty upset about, no hair dryers, no in room coffee machines.. I have NEVER been to a hotel that didnt have these things in the room. I had to go by a hair dryer. The bathroom door was damaged and dragged on the floor so u had to shove pretty hard to get it to close and the front door bolt lock was broken so no way to lock the room from the inside while u were in the room. There was quite a few things wrong with this newly remodeled hotel.
