My son and I recently took a road trip to Montagu and stayed overnight at Mimosa Lodge. We really enjoyed the accommodation — the apartment was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows were especially comfortable, which made for a restful stay. Breakfast, however, was a bit slower than expected. While it was scheduled for 08:00, only cereals and yogurt were initially available, with the rest of the items being served gradually thereafter. It seemed that only one staff member was attending to guests, which may have contributed to the delays. As a result, there was some waiting before orders were taken and meals were fully served. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and with a small improvement in breakfast service timing, the experience would be even better.
