Grand Hotel Moon Valley

Friendly staff, helpful. Clean. Not the modern of hotels. Pool, very good. I went 1/2 board and breakfast and dinner lovely. Convenient to the local train station taking you to Naples, Sorrento or Vico Equence. Air in room, worked perfectly. I've seen some reviews here and all I say is make your own mind up. For me, it was great.

Ritornata in questa struttura dopo 20 anni ho ritrovato lo stesso calore ,educazione ed eleganza che hanno sempre contraddistinto questa struttura. Pulizia giornaliera con cambio biancheria, letti comodi ,bagno super con tutti i comfort. Ogni camera è fornita di balconcino con tavolo e sedie dove il panorama ne fa da padrone ,la tranquillità è la protagonista. Colazione abbondante sia dolce che salata ,ogni giorno prodotti nuovi . L'unica pecca a mio avviso è la mancanza di spremute fresche ma c'è ampia scelta di quelle confezionate. Eccellente scelta per la cena ,piatti buoni e gustosi ; purtroppo il pranzo è limitata la scelta a 10 piatti ogni giorno li stessi ,ovviamente dopo una settimana stancano. Piscina doppia fornita di zone relax con lettino ed ombrelloni , acqua pulita . Bar fornito per lo più di caffetteria,limitata la scelta dei cocktail ,ragazzi gentili e disponibili. Purtroppo il bar chiude a mezzanotte, se di notte aveste bisogno di una bottiglia di acqua dovrete attendere la mattina seguente. Direttore gentile, disponibile, risolve ogni tipo di problema in breve tempo . La mia nota negativa è per l'intrattenimento serale che potrebbe essere più coinvolgente, invece che un noiosissimo piano bar con una cantante che si lamenta non canta. Ho potuto notare che ci sono stati dei 18 simi con dj e musica ,molti adulti hanno ballato anche non essendo della festa ...per cui un intrattenimento del genere sarebbe ottimo anche solo fino mezzanotte. Il moon valley è da vivere in ogni dettaglio

This is definitely not a 4star hotel. Maybe it was 30 years ago. I've stayed in better 2 star hotels. Only able to charge this much because of the area!

Absolute gem of a hotel. Relatively small, family run, with a lovely Italian vibe. Staff so friendly and helpful. Stunning views over the bay of Naples. Helpful shuttle to and from Sorrento and local area (depending on availability). Reasonably priced excursions from the hotel or from Seiano port. Pleasantly surprised by the near by Vico Equense. Lovely pool never over crowded. Rooms cleaned daily with clean sheets and towels and comfy beds. Lovely base to relax or explore as you wish. We would definitely return and are sad to go home.

Leggermente caro a mio avviso, considerata la posizione che non è distante dal centro ma comunque scomoda a piedi, visto che non ci sono marciapiedi per arrivare (occorre la macchina)

Ant infestations. Random toenail clipping on the floor. Went half board, food wasn’t great. Can hear everything in your room. I got moved to another room after reporting the ant infestation. I could hear Upstairs flushing their toilet, next door’s tv, the busy road outside and I had the squeakiest bed ever! Asked to be moved, to be told they were full. The views, the staff and pool area are excellent. But the actual hotel should be demolished and re-built. What was supposed to be a much needed relaxing holiday, turned into a lack of sleep and wanting to go home instead.
