Lexis Port Dickson

We were 4 adults and 2 kids. When we were checking-in we were told that our booking has been upgraded from Premium suite in the tower to water chalet. We had intentionally booked in the tower as we didn't think the water chalet to be safe with young kids. The front desk staff was very helpful in arranging the club car for us to see the chalet first and them decide. We liked it but that didn't change our decision and we were checked into our preferred room. It was a very comfortable stay and the staff is very helpful. We had them run to/fro several times for warming baby milk but they never complained about it. The breakfast was great and pretty much a brunch. The area is nice and the view is very nice. If you are looking to spend time on beach, this isnt the place amd there are better options put there else and o.w. this is a nice resort.

Comfortable hotel with indoor and outdoor activities. My family were very happy and enjoy playing at the beach but the foods make us quite disappointed. Limited choice for breakfast and the taste is just ok.

Nice hotel and very friendly staff. Mesmerize view, enjoying the stay all night long, book for tower bridge room but got upgrade for water chalet room for free. Amazing Stay!!

We extended our room for one more night, and at noon we received a number of calls asking if we are checking out although it was already confirmed earlier in the morning. Then we had the room service staff banging on our door again and calling our room asking if we are still staying there, despite the sign “Do not disturb” on the door knob. That was unacceptable. They could’ve called the receptionist and ask for details. We booked a hotel taxi to KLIA for our morning flight. The person in charge even suggested if we want to take his friend’s taxi instead of the hotel one. I insisted to take the hotel taxi and confirmed the booking. After a few minutes, our room received a call from an outsider (taxi driver) asking if we want to take his taxi instead for a cheaper price, he even mentioned that our booking was wrong and requested that we cancelled our booking with hotel. I ignored the fella and just go ahead with hotel taxi. When we checked out in the morning, asking where was the taxi, the staff in charge no nothing. The person kept on mentioning that she doesn’t know anything about the taxi and asked if I know who was the person I dealt with. They should’ve had a record or handover when they change shift. Just because I don’t know who was the person in charge I dealt with, they ended up not knowing anything about the status of my taxi. Lastly, the room and breakfast were OK.

The hotel is nice Wittgenstein spectacular water chalets over the sea front. Hotel is tidy and staff are warm and welcoming. We even got an upgrade without asking. Yet the restaurant needs some renovation. But food for breakfast is good and somehow exceed our expectations. Nice stay and good experience. Worth to come again.

I will give 4 star for this hotel. Suit for family who have up to 4 children. Definitely will come back.

Disappointing experience: 1. Hotel declined to allow us to add bed to our room even though we were willing to fork out additional cost 2. When we requested for additional pillows/bath towels, we were informed it is the hotel policy that they are unable to provide 3. Premium ocean room seemed more like chalet than hotel room, condition of the room seemed old and not well maintained. 4. Requested for baby cot during room reservation, and reminded reception of baby cot again upon check in at 2pm, but baby cot was nowhere to be seen even until 9pm 5. Swimming Pool of Lexis Port Dickson has strict restriction and only allows 2 towels per room 6. There’s an indoor play area for toddlers but air con was not turned on, only two fans were on when we entered Plus points: 1. Reception staff Win Shern was polite and helpful 2. We originally booked tower room but was upgraded to Premium Ocean View where room size was slightly bigger (our room was unblocked view) 3. Buggy service to chauffeur us to and fro between room and reception area anytime of day 4. We could use the Games room and Swimming Pool at Grand Lexis, but the Swimming pool was water was dirty with dead insects and debris at the bottom of pool. 5. Buggy drivers and bell boy service were very warm and friendly, even security guard smiles when we pass by him. 6. Breakfast buffet selection was quite good, buffet restaurant staff were also very warm and friendly

Such a momentous family trip it was last weekend. We initially booked the Premium Sky Tower and got so pleasantly surprised when we got upgraded to Premium Water Chalet upon check in. I wanted to book the water chalets through expedia but they were all taken up. This was amazing to actually get the room we wanted. The view was amazing. The room was amazing. The staff who took care of us throughout our one night's stay was amazing. Well done Lexis!

My kids were so happy as we were selected to be upgraded to stay at Grand Lexis. The accomoditon was awesome!!. Recommended for family holiday there.
