Movich Hotel Cartagena de Indias

Love this place every time I’m in Cartagena.

We (@wolfestreettravel on Instagram and wolfestreettravel.com) stayed at Movich Hotels Cartagena de Indias for 2 nights during a trip to Colombia. Amazing rooftop pool, but it was being cleaned the one full day we were there (and the rooftop pool was the primary reason for selecting Movich). They very helpfully provided transportation to a sister hotel with an even larger rooftop pool (Bastion Luxury Hotel). Unfortunately, THEIR pool was closed too - this time for failure of their water treatment system. So, not a great day. Movich did agree to discount our rate, and their pool was finally available after repairs at the end of the day, so we did get to enjoy it for about an hour. Room was very spacious and good, but not great - as a Small Luxury Hotel, we thought it would be a little nicer. That said, it was still pretty good. The lobby and breakfast areas were outstanding, as was breakfast.

I loved location , Didnt like that i couldnt access roof on newyears eve , even thou i was staying in the hotel for 6 days

Amazing food and super gentle service The best I have in Cartagena Super nice and cozy and new environment All perfect The lady at the restaurant super gentle amd pleasant. Impossible to believe that i was in the super turistic center of Cartagena

muy bonito. la terraza tiene una vista muy bonita y las habitaciones son espaciosas y modernas con un toque clásico. nos encanto todo. la comida es buena y conveniente. la piscina es muy bonita con vista excelente pero el área es un poco pequeña y poca privacidad. Aparte de eso todo fue un éxito. Queda cerca de todo y el staff es muy servicial. El cuarto siempre estaba limpio.

Really loved this quaint property. The room faced the front street and was really comfortable. The decor inside the hotel was simple and classy. Have to mention the staff. Anyilli and Nelson at the front desk. Raphael the doorman and not to forget Isabella at breakfast time. They were so wonderful and such a wonderful staff. Thank you for our wonderful stay!

Great location in heart of Cartagena. Luxury room was large and the rainfall shower was amazing. Good buffet breakfast with a variety of options.

I stayed here for 3 nights… very safe, staff are friendly & very convenient to the town. Easy accessible. Place is beautifully, well kept… Restaurant on sight & the food & service is amazing!

Great property. Great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. They helped set up a birthday bouquet and flowers for my wife. Turned out great. Cleaning staff was thorough and helpful. Rooftop pool was my go-to every chance I had some down time.

Very pleasant stay! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit Cartagena.
