Discovery Inn Hotel

Second time I've used this hotel, and it was great. Clean and pleasant, decent continental-style breakfast. All that was needed. If there's one grouse - it's the "dynamic pricing" which all hotels seem to be using. On one occasion I was going to book Discovery, but it was more expensive than the nearby Travelodge. Silly.

Just what I needed. Two minutes walk from the station. Basic room but very clean and comfortable - if I'm really picky would have liked some decaff tea and coffee !! They happily gave me all the pillows I needed to support my broken arm. Very happy with my stay.

The on duty saff went above and beyond to make our stay great however the brealfst was not what was expected no option 1 meat 1 cheese and slices of bread. Poor for the price.

The fire alarm went off, one fire exit was blocked off and we ended up lost and didn’t see any other people, eventually the alarm stopped so we went back to our room but we had no idea wether it was a drill or a real alarm, also our room smelt of cigarettes even though it said no smoking room

The property was dated but clean and comfortable.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, friendly staff. Location is great and in general it's exactly what it says in the tin. Rooms are basic yes, but they are just what you need.

Comfortable tidy room a bit dated but it was very clean
