Staff, food & room were fantastic. The largest family room we’ve ever stayed in.

Waited from 7.30pm to 9.40pm for food in the bar on Sunday night. Food was lovely when it eventually arrived though & staff were very apologetic. The break & meal was to celebrate family birthdays & I had rung ahead & flagged this before we arrived thinking they’d mark it in our room upon check in but nothing was there. We asked again to make a small fuss when having our meal & ordering desserts but when desserts arrived nothing was said again, which was disappointing.

Very disappointed in the restaurant facilities. We booked a table for 8:15 Got sitting at 8:45 Took our order at 9 . We had to organize and go to the bar for our drinks as the waiter did not ask us at table . We got our starter at 930 and our main course eventually came to the table at 1045 . My son ordered the steak it wasn't a steak it was a piece of roast f beef cut and fried . He didn't even get his chips that was ordered as a side . We didn't get even asked did we want a desert or tea or coffee . About 6 people got up and left the restaurant due to waiting times for ordering and waiting for food . Loads of people complained to the supervisor on duty.There was piles of used glasses on the bar and even the bins beside the bars were over flowing . Very poor over all and definitely would not recommend it . Unfortunately it is a lovey hotel with so much potential.
