SUNRISE Holidays Resort - Adults Only - All inclusive

We were not pleased with the first room upon checkin but the reception staff showed us to a bigger and better upgrade for our stay. We were pleased!

Good value for money, wide variation on the buffet although does wear thin after a few days! Shower curtain/pole collapsed after two days, never fixed as they needed to get the parts ordered. Normally we would pop down to B&Q although it's not hat easy is Egypt and they are not known for their urgency!

This was our 4 th visit to the sunrise hotel ,and as always Excelant in every way. . Nothing is to much trouble for the staff .A fantastic hotel overall we can not wait to return again .

Staff most helpful. Easy access to town. Travelling alone I felt safe and security of hotel was excellent. Coffe shops and restaurants (if required) two minutes away to the left of hotel. Diving available, boat trips and plenty going on during the day (volley ball, darts,Aquarobics, Water polo etc). Taxis cheap, just ask price before journey.

Excellent service , staff always willing to help you feel comfortable with any request no matter the size. Restaurant staff, lobby staff, entertainment staff where so nice and smiling. Meet the hotel manager and he was all so happy to hear from his guest. Lagoon and the special dinner was the best felt like a queen.

Probably the best hotel and service you are going to find, shame about the hassle in the streets and shops but that is a national problem and not the hotels fault it is superb and from the General Manager down they make themselves available to give you everything you need for a wonderful stay.

My only gripe is the internet. I'd paid for high speed internet in my room to save me using the free internet in the hotel lobby however, it was far from high speed. Whilst I accept that speed becomes slower depending on how many people are using it at any given time, it only ever had one speed throughout my stay which was stop. I do not recommend using this service and only use the free internet and sit and have a drink in the in the lobby bar on the 4th floor. Despite the best efforts of the hotel staff resetting the router and contacting their internet provider, the payable high speed network failed to work quickly for the entire 6 days that I paid for. Disappointing that a Hotel of this size could provide a payable internet service to handle the volume of traffic when the hotel is full. That said, it didn't spoil my holiday and there was nothing that couldn't wait until `I got home. The entertainment (for me) felt a bit Pontins circa 1980's and the different local solo acts seemed to all sing similar songs each night just in a different order. I Didn't get that involved with that but often listened from the comfort of my balcony in the warm night breeze. Other than that, the hotel and staff were fantastic, the food was great and varied. My rom overlooked the beach and was cleaned to a very high standard every day with the 2 bottles of water left in my room every day. I would recommend staying at this hotel but us the free wifi.

Had a fab time, staff friendly, hotel excellent maybe a bit dated. Would recommend to anyone. Only concern is the idea of 'adults only' to find children (14 years) staying in the hotel and wearing the same bands as everyone else, although I am aware that they were not served alcohol.

I have been to this hotel six times. Find it friendly and when I was poorly they really looked after me. Enjoyed everything about it. Will be going again in September. I have been with others and alone but never felt lonely.

The room was a good size, but the drawer unit broke very quickly. First day without fridge and ac because of an electricity problem to the hotel. The all inclusive food ( seems like similar dishes given different names each theme night), and drinks ( ice was rare, plastic beakers looked old, and the alcohol was poor quality) were disappointing The staff were, for the most part, friendly and helpful. The beach-side pizza and chips were not bad. The new marina is difficult to find, but offers a modern tranquil setting in contrast to the old town.
