Very good experience overall!

Staff were very helpful and polite!

The room was spacious with a nice layout, beds were very comfortable; we also liked the pool. Proximity to both the beach/Ocean Blvd as well as the Atlantic Ave facilities all were a definite plus.

I have never experienced such a rude behavior by any valet parking staff. Especially a mid-30 long-haired guy was nasty who seemed to be the boss of the bosses. When told that we were checking in but not go for valet parking in all earnest he wanted us to find street parking first. I nevertheless left the car without handing over the key and went in for check in only to find out (after 4 pm) that the room was not ready for check-in. So, we left for early dinner. Once we were done (way after 5pm) we were finally informed that the room was ready. Although I had complained about the ruthless behavior of the valet guy at the front desk before (and received a thousand meaningless apologies), we underwent the same heavy-handed, nasty-pushy, and intentionally discomforting behavior by the valet parking crew and their greasy long-haired boss again. They would not let us handle our baggage with a cart ourselves for some imaginary “safety” concerns. I finally parked the car nearby. Meanwhile my wife was repeatedly harassed by the valet/bellman guys for not wanting to have the luggage served, the car parked, and in my absence even paid for this brute-force “service” of luggage to the room, which I loathed. If Seagate wants to maintain a good customer experience, please fire the long-haired nasty guy and retrain the subordinates in how to receive and treat customers correctly. Furthermore, empty apologies by the reception staff are not good enough. This is not how a high-quality place welcomes and treats customers.

Great location. Staff are so friendly. Austin at reception and Christian in the Venetian bar were excellent. Brett at the beach club pool bar was simply the best!

We paid extra for a room overlooking the pool. The experience was ruined by looking down on the filthy roofs of the cabanas. Something has to be done about that.

Seagate is lovely. Every staff member that we encountered was friendly, professional, and helpful. Great morning lattes at The Gate. Fabulous dinner at Bourbon Street. We will be visiting again!
