Erg leuke accommodatie met gezellige kamers, die weliswaar uit eenvoudige materialen is gemaakt, maar desondanks niks onderdoet aan gezelligheid en comfort. De bedden zijn super! Prima buffet en goed ontbijt.

court sejour d'une nuit dans cet hotel en sortant du Swaziland, calme, propre, dans une proprieté en pleine campagne. Les chambres sont atypiques et très belles. Nous n'avons pas été deçu.

Suggest you try Bulembu lodge if looking for accommodation in this area. The backpackers in dark and dingy, upgraded to chalets which were expensive and simple. Maintenance is not a priority and ended up with a cold shower in the morning. Suggest you eat before arriving, dinner is $15 per person for simple buffet and no options close by. Stayed in awesome accommodation throughout SA and Swaziland and this was most disappointing.

I would like to lodge a complaint with the people of Hawana Resort and claiming my full refund. I booked a double room and a single room for 3 people. When we got at the venue the security guy at the gate told us that there is no record of our reservation. He went to phone a lady who works there and she asked him to take us to her room. We knocked and knocked at the door the lady didn’t respond to our knock. Instead she switched off her phone. We stood outside in the rain cause the security guy couldn’t help us as he said he didn’t have records of our booking. It didn’t help showing him the proof of our reservation number as you could see they employed an uneducated person who doesn’t know how to treat their visitors. At 2am we had to drive around Swaziland looking for alternative accommodation. 2. There were young stars who were making noise and drinking outside the place who told us that they book the whole accommodation there so it wasn’t possible for us to go and sleep there as they had booked the whole place. 3. I would advise that you keep your place clean as there was food lying around the place and bottles and bottles of alcohol. The reception we got there with a dirty security guy doesn’t portray the image of the place that is advertised in the website with smelling blankets no electricity and only candles.

We thought the meals were quite pricey but it was a really relaxing atmosphere around the resort and it was just what we needed since we only needed an overnight stay because we were going to Malololtja Game Reserve the next morning.

Comfortable, clean, good food. We enjoyed our stay. The restaurant is quite comfy with a fireplace in the middle. Dinner and lunch buffet were good and diverse.

Underwhelmed.

Great stay! Peaceful and secluded. We were surprised at the expensive price of dinner in the restaurant. The horseback riding was fantastic and scenic. Many of the advertised activities were not available.
