Waterfront and location

The rate is a little expensive, but it was waterfront and it was a single unit. As a result, I do understand the high rate.

What a fabulous place this is. The staff were unerringly friendly from the outset and we were more than surprised at how beautiful our accommodation and surroundings were. The pictures and description on the website are good but can't do justice to the place itself. Right on the bay with lovely views and a quiet beach area to enjoy. There are free paddleboards, kayaks, bikes and various games to play. We also barbecued on the beach with the provided equipment which was lovely. The swimming pool was a plus as well. Our chalet type room was very clean, had a fridge freezer, microwave and small cooking stove top (even had washing up liquid and sponges etc already provided). Bed was comfortable and large and all in all a perfect setting. Watching the sunset was a treat. There are no main shops and only one restaurants within easy walking distance but there is a lot within 2 -3 minutes in the car. We bought fresh fish from the fishmonger who was knowledgeable and helpful in Tavernier Creek called Casamar Seafood Market and barbecued Mangrove Snapper on the barbecue on the beach. Also not too far away is Robbies of Islamadora where you can hand feed the Tarpon which is spectacular. Perfection
